SHOO, Pests! Fire
Ant Remedy?
To get rid of fire ants, a reader of Backyard
Living suggests filling a foil pie plate with water and sprinkling
the ground around it with cornmeal. Fire ants love cornmeal, but it
makes them thirsty. The water makes the cornmeal expand in their
abdomens, killing them.
